EFC is cruel because they don’t have the means to help me and yet it’s high enough for me to NOT get the pell grant. How is it that I fucking got the pell grant for 100 bucks while at a CC, and for just ONE year’s worth at csulb?
How does my financial need status change that drastically??

I hate leg exercises but I’m glad that Pat implements them. Squats, jumping squats, sprints, lunges, side lunges, hops, one-footed hops, high skips… They all suck but damn my legs muscles are there. You may not see them because I still have fat on my body, but I can definitely feel them.
It’s a great feeling especially because I haven’t been starving myself and haven’t created bad habits.
For me the goal has never been a summer body and I kind of smirk when I see people on Facebook now implementing some sort of summer goal to get “fit”. I just want to be in the best condition I can achieve and that condition is more about my body’s strength and endurance rather than looking hot at the beach.
I think it’s better that I don’t think about this change as for attaining the body because it allows me to accept my body for what it is right now. I’m not 100% happy, but I’m sure I can outdo squats and push ups for some people. And that’s a big enough feat for me.
Apparently there’s a load of people who have finally come out of the closet that I went to high school with.
And I’m like… Thanks for being shitty to me and my friends and letting us feel alone that whole time!
They were much more focused on fitting in while my two best friends and I were getting our queer on. Ya’ll are late to the party. We could’ve been best buds 8 years ago and been gay for 4 years together in high school. Instead we were left alone and left invisible.
I mean. I’m glad you’re one of us now I guess? But your support early on would have been great.
Whatever I’m like level 23 queer and they’re still gaybies at 23.
But I guess they do have their careers and whatnot and are successful… Whatever just let me be a little resentful okay?
